Early Alpha screenshots of "Mechamania", a WIP physics-based indie game featuring mech combat and customization. This page will be updated as more progress is available to demonstrate. The game is currently playable and open beta is planned for summer.
In this project I aimed to convey a sense of toy-robots, whilst still being somewhat believable as full sized mechs. For functional parts (such as weapons) I also had to design them in such a way that function and availability could be conveyed visually rather than with UI. Poly and texture limits were strict as the game will hopefully be deployed to mobile and console platforms.
In this project I have been in charge of art, level design, UI as well as a large amount of c# programming focused on weapons and levels.
